Final Countdown: Submit Your Abstract for the EDM Forum Symposium!

April 5th marks the deadline to submit your abstract for the annual EDM Forum Symposium in Baltimore, MD on June 22, 2013 in conjunction with AcademyHealth’s Annual Research Meeting (ARM). Submit your abstract and join a collaborative community of multi-disciplinary researchers working at the cutting edge of applied health science to improve patient outcomes. Final decisions on submissions will be made on May 10th.

Abstracts should not exceed 500 words and be applicable to at least one of the EDM Forum’s four thematic domains: analytic methods, clinical informatics, governance, and the learning health system. There’s still time to register for a webinar that will provide information about publishing in eGEMs (Generating Evidence & Methods to improve patient outcomes). eGEMs is a new peer reviewed journal that publishes innovations and lessons learned using electronic clinical data to advance health research and quality improvement (QI) with the overall goal of improving patient outcomes.  Set for Wednesday, April 3, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST, this webinar will provide you with useful hints on how to submit for peer-review to ensure your paper is published and discuss ways to get involved in this new rapid learning community.
